1934 Wedding Certificate
This is a 1934 wedding certificate that has extensive damage including holes, tears, cracks, and a lot of tape stains. Our Client wanted to have this wedding certificated restored to give to her Grandmother for Christmas 2003. To restore this significantly damaged document we performed the following:
- Cleaned up the tape stains
- Repaired the holes in the document
- Restored all missing writing
- Repaired flowers
- Minimized coarseness
- Retained background color (per Client request)
- Improved contrast for better viewing

1851 Birth Certificate
This is a 1851 birth certificate that has extensive damage including numerous tape stains, and missing areas. It is from the RetouchPro web site, and it's copyright belongs to John Rampling. To restore this 152 year old damaged document we performed the following:
- Cleaned up the tape stains
- Restored all missing hand writing
- Restored all missing type written characters
- Replaced background
- Improved contrast for better viewing

1819 Marriage Certificate
This is a 1819 Marriage certificate that has extensive damage including stains, tears, rips, and missing areas. To restore this 188 year old damaged document we performed the following:
- Repaired the tears, rips and stains
- Repaired missing areas in hand writing and graphics
- Improved contrast for better viewing
- Sharpened blurred text areas

United States Naturalization Certificate
This is a 1913 United States Naturalization Certificate. It had torn and creased areas resulting in partially missing text, signatures, and design. document was:
- Clean up the cracks and creases throughout the document.
- Rebuild text, designs and signatures that were partially missing.

1892 Marriage Certificate
This is a 1892 Marriage certificate with damage that includes stains, folds, and a lot of very faint to missing cursive writing. To restore this document we performed the following steps:
- Removed the stains and folds
- Restored faint and missing cursive writing
- Improved contrast for better viewing

1887 German Confirmation Document
This is a 1887 German confirmation document with damage that includes tears, rips, stains, folds, tape marks, and missing areas. To restore this document we performed the following steps:
- Pieced together document
- Repaired rips, tear, stains, folds and tape marks
- Restored missing areas
- Blended contrast to create uniform color
- Improved contrast for better viewing

1988 College Diploma
This diploma had faded from sunlight exposure, but the most significant damage was that the signatures (except for the President) were barely visible. (the student's name has been covered for privacy). The following restoration steps were performed:
- Removed the fading and returned the diploma to it's original white color
- Extensively built up the faded signatures until they appeared as they were originally
- Cleaned up stray marks
- Sharpened text and signatures

1976 Nursing Diploma
This diploma had faded from sunlight exposure, and some of the print had become a little faint. (the student's name has been covered for privacy). The following restoration steps were performed:
- Removed the fading and returned the diploma to it's original white color
- Built up the faded print
- Cleaned up stray marks
- Sharpened the document

1889 Land Deed
The owners of Hula Daddy Kona Coffee plantation in Holualoa, Hawaii had a land grant for their Coffee Plantation from August 30th, 1889 that was in need of restoration. It had fallen apart into several pieces, some text was missing, some very faded To restore this significantly damaged document we performed the following:
- Repaired seams
- Restored all missing writing
- Cleaned up overall appearance

1894 Dutch Church Document
This is an official document from a Dutch Church issued in 1984 that belongs to Melson Zwerver of Holland. Unfortunately, it has been exposed to significant amounts of sunlight, and the handwriting has faded dramatically, and to a lesser extent the printed text. To restore this document we performed the following:
- Cleaned up the background and made the color stronger and more uniform
- Carefully used layering techniques to recover and build up the handwriting
- Improved contrast for better viewing
- Sharpened the photograph
